I've been addicted to ExtJS lately. ExtJS is a javascript framework that's ideal for web-based application. I don't wanna talk much about this framework instead, I'll be talking about my experiences with this awesome framework and how i am amazed at this. You can check it out here.

I first used ExtJS for mymummybag panel. Features such as chat, classified lists, ad management and etc are made on top of this framework. It's my first built from scratch app using ExtJS, it's still premature, hopefully, this will evolve to a better application.

I'll talk much about it on my later future posts. I'll end this quick for now.

Timex Product Catalog

A friend of mine contacted me to do a small project for a company. He rushed to tell me that his brother needs something to finish. I took the job and here it goes. It started with an Admin Panel that enable users to transfer store files in the site. Most of them are catalogs for Timex watches. RIMS

After 6 months of a very busy career life, we're finally in the the maintenance phase of this project.

This project is a web-based ERP system containing modules such as Sales, Invoicing, Inventory, Forecasting and other modules.

I'd like to create a demo login for you to take a look at the skin of this sophisticated software, but the confidentiality of the system is strict. This is one of the major projects I made and it feels good and proud to be a part of the team. We've gone through the whole Software Development Life Cycle with this project. From Data Gathering, Planning, Design, a thousand page documentation, coding, unit and functional testing.

Sinulog V.2007

"Sinulog is a dance ritual in honor of the miraculous image of the Santo Niño. The dance moves two steps forward and one step backward to the sound of the drums."

The word Sinulog is a Visayan term to the local dance that follows the rhythm of the river flow (Sulog). It has come down in history as the enduring native expression of prayer bridging the pagan years and Christian era today.

My friend and I came up to an idea of creating an online forum for Cebuanos specifically for Opon(lapu-lapu city).

This was supposed to be a forum for music lovers from Cebu from different genre but this idea emerged and made real.

Workdraft 3.0

I love to write but I can’t write… Confusing? Exactly, you are right. As technology is getting complicated and advanced, the ability to relay information is getting better and better. During the old days, it takes a lot of time and effort to relay even a single message. I could still remember when I was young when my Grandpa’s brother died, it took almost 48 hours to inform us that he died, (telegram).

The internet is a very powerful bus for information to travel through. With your fingertips, you can travel from anywhere in the world in a matter of milliseconds. You can see the Great Canyon, the biggest magazine in the world viewable from the moon, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, my Great House. Wait, the last part is not included (laughing). But you can actually visit and take a look at my dog’s house from your desk.

Again, the thing that makes me happy with the internet is that I can express my self to everybody in the world. I can blog, I can email, I can share videos and the last but not the least, I can write articles. I’d be able to express myself, my expertise, everything and let people notice it, an outlet for my feelings, emotions and life’s experiences.

Workdraft 2.0

MMPC is the first Joomla Website I did. Joomla is such a powerful tool to make websites. Its CMS nature allows you create your own website in a matter of minutes, update as frequent as you want, post pictures, news, and a whole lot more.

You can make your own template, your own design if you like. There are also ready made templates that you can use in the internet. But I know that customized is always preferable. There are lots of designers that you can get in touch with for your website, you can also contact me and I can help you setup your site in a very friendly deal.

workdraft 1.0

After a month in the office, I finally got something to work on. With two of our Graphic Designers, Content Manager and with the rest of the team, we hope to hit the target date. We will be working on our client’s Corporate Website and hopefully be a part to work with their Corporate Software. Been waiting for a month and finally it came. We will be using two Open Source CMS. This is challenge for me since I haven’t worked for a company with this nature of work.
